4 Ways To Get Out Of Your Introvert Rut And Grow Your Business

Have you been feeling like you’re stuck in an introvert rut lately? Do you find yourself spending too much time on your own, doing the same things over and over, or feel like you’re holding yourself back?

There are a few things you can do if you’re stuck in an introvert rut and we’re going to help you figure them out!

1) Get out there, but within your comfort zone

One of the best ways to get out of a rut is by pushing yourself to try new things, however, this can be a bit much for the deeply introverted. Branch out and try new things in new places, maybe hanging out with a larger group of people, but do so within the confines of your comfort zone.

Go to your favorite coffee shop and order your favorite drink at their busiest time of day. Go to a party you wouldn’t typically but hang in the corner with a close friend. The key to this exercise is finding a balance; you want to push yourself, but not too far.

2) Meet new people on your terms

Along the same lines, you want to meet new people within your comfort zone too. Spark up a conversation with a friendly person at your favorite store, restaurant, or bar. This will help you meet someone that’s most likely like-minded without pushing yourself to the point of discomfort.

Push yourself to go somewhere where you might meet a new friend with whom you have common interests. This could make it easier for you to mix things up and get out of your rut without pushing yourself to the point of discomfort.

3) Push yourself to participate in something new

Doing something entirely new to you can be a good way to break yourself out of your rut, but for a lot of introverts, this is highly uncomfortable and maybe even anxiety-inducing. You have to push yourself to do something new that you’re comfortable with.

If you’re more comfortable going out to a game night at a brewery or a book club that let you be in a smaller group, push yourself to do that. If you’re more comfortable going to a larger party where you can hide in the crowd if you need to, then that needs to be the something new you try.

4) Drive yourself to bust out of your shell

A great way to break out of an introverted rut is by pushing yourself to get out of your shell. This is another exercise that might prove to be very uncomfortable for introverts, so it may not be for everyone.

Pushing yourself to try new activities that cause you to push the limits of introversion can help you get out of that rut. Try branching out to new small groups where the attention has to be on you at some point, like a book club, creative writing group, local bridge game, or a small jam session among other things. This will help you break out of your shell and push past this introversion and the rut you’re in.

Getting yourself out of an introvert rut can be quite difficult and the more introverted you are, the harder it becomes. Practice pushing yourself to do new things but within the confines of your comfort zone. This will help you get out of your rut without risking pushing you past your limitations.

If you still find this difficult, we recommend discussing it with your therapist. They’ll be able to help guide you to more specific and custom exercises that will better help you get out of this rut without hurting yourself in any way.

Are All Autoresponder Leads the Same?

When choosing what kind of auto responder leads to purchase, keep in mind that the best price is not always the best option.  You might pay twice as much or more for one type of lead over another, however if your ad pulls 3 or 4 times better with the more expensive lead it can be well worth the extra cost.

Typically, the cheaper quality the lead is, the less targeted they are and often times the less emails that get through and opened.  This is why you have to buy considerably more of the lower quality leads to get the results you are looking for.

There are many schools of thought on what type of auto responder leads works best.  Below is a quick overview of the different types available so that you can better gage for yourself what is right for you.

There are basically 3 main Types of Autoresponder Leads:

1) Double-Opt In Autoresponder leads.  These are leads that fill out a form requesting information and have received an email to verify that they are indeed interested in learning more about whatever offer they had requested information on.   After they have verified their interest, they then become a lead. These leads are typically more expensive because they are pre-screened for email delivery and interest.

2) Tier 1 Opt-In Business Opportunity AutoResponder Leads.  These are considered premium autoresponder leads because they are generated on advertising networks that typically attract higher quality traffic and are qualified as business opportunity leads.  These leads genuinely Opt-In to receive information about making money with their own business.

3) Tier 2 Bulk AutoResponder Leads.  These are generally collected by various methods including free offers (fill out this form to win an IPOD), opt-out (where a person has applied for something or a free offer and there are several boxes that are pre-checked that they would like additional information.  Whether they do want more info or if they do not notice the check boxes and uncheck the boxes, they become a lead), and various offers where they are agreeing to receive information from partner sites or other free offers not necessarily targeted to business opportunities.

Though technically these leads are opt-in leads, they are not necessarily targeted for an interest in a home based business.  This is one of the most common leads sold as an opt-in auto responder lead because of the inexpensive prices.

Which type of lead is right for you?  It really depends on what you are marketing, your budget and what kind of emailing capabilities you have.  Test out different types of leads and you will quickly figure out what works best for you.

Low Cost Leads Equals Duplication

Congratulations! You have just signed up your first person into your ground-breaking opportunity!
It took you a little while to convince him or her that starting a business does actually take them spending a little money. So they sucked it up, balanced their checkbook, and came up with the $25-$100 or more to join your company.

After providing you with a few excuses as to why they didn't want to call their friends and family before they have success first, how easy do you think the next task of telling them they need to spend another $100 - $300 or more for leads will be?

They are out business before they even start!

The best thing you can do for your business, is have some inexpensive lead options available with a low sticker shock so that your new members will take the next crucial action step, exposing people to their business.

Besides the fact that a new person will need time and practice getting comfortable on the phone, you do not have to be calling $4/lead leads to find good people for your business.
I'm sure you are familiar with the saying, "Make up in numbers, what you lack in skill!" This is critical for your new members to understand, so they do not get frustrated and give themselves the time necessary to succeed.

Find a source of leads where you can get a good balance of quality leads for a good price. Leads that are slightly aged are a fantastic way for both the new members and veterans alike to get practice, sort through larger amounts of prospects and to find those superstars hidden in each lead batch.

When your new member is trained properly and has a few hundred calls under his or her belt, then start mixing in the more costly leads.

Do not forget, as your new member gets better on the phone, their leads will magically get better, regardless of the age or quality of the lead.

To your online success,

Is an Exclusive Lead truly an Exclusive Lead?

Does an Exclusive Lead mean that you are truly the only person receiving that lead?
The hopeful answer is: Sometimes!
The reality is: Probably Not.

Let's take a look at the many definitions or common categories that an Exclusive Lead can fall into:

Often times "Exclusive" means that you are only person in your particular company to receive that lead, but you still share the lead with several other people from competing companies.

Other times "Exclusive" means that your leads are exclusive for a short amount of time such as 3-7 days. After this timeframe, the Leads are sold several more times, often averaging 5-7 times.

Is it wrong for companies to do this? Absolutely not! Unless of course you are willing to spend 3 or 4 times the cost of the lead to truly get the exclusive rights to it. By selling a lead multiple times, it is the most cost effective way for a lead company to be able to get fresh leads into your hands at a price you can afford. It is only wrong if a lead company does not properly represent what you are purchasing.

Another variable you should keep in mind is that often, when people are looking for an income opportunity online, your prospect may not have just responded to one advertisement or filled out one form requesting information about a home business.

Many times people fill out multiple forms so they can compare different opportunities. You might have 3 different people thinking they have just purchased an "exclusive" lead only to find out later that the same person filled out 3 separate forms which went to 3 different people.

Did you compare different opportunities before you decided your current company was the right fit for you?

Just because you are not the only person contacting a lead, does not mean you will not have success. What it really boils down to is sorting through your lead list looking for the right people for your opportunity.

Not every opportunity if right for everyone. You might have just the opportunity they are looking for and you only spent .20 cents on the same lead that cost someone else who called them a week before you $4.00 or more.

Fresh Leads Versus Aged Leads- The Verdict Is Still Out

You are excited! You just started up your networking business and you are ready to launch your business to the world by purchasing a list of leads of people that are hopefully just as excited about a life without financial woes and time freedom as you are and then it hits you... $4.00 a lead. Ouch! You quickly calculate that it will cost you $400 to hopefully be able to talk to 100 people about your business. Ouch again! Are these $4.00 leads worth the price? This is where the age-old debate of quality versus quantity begins. Any industry veteran will tell you, the secret to being successful in networking is not selling people on your opportunity, rather it is sorting through enough people to find those right people for your opportunity. It is quite simple really. The more people you talk to, the more people you will find that are right for your business. This is especially important when you are first starting out. It takes time, practice, and patience to earn the confidence that will be necessary to increase the number of people that are attracted to you. Yes, I said attracted to you. Most often a prospect will be willing to join your company because they have connected with you and feel that you are the one that can help them become successful. However, unless you are natural born leader with an instant knack for the phone, you might have to stumble through a few hundred calls before you get enough practice with your script to come across as confident and comfortable. So what is the solution? Most likely, these same leads that are being sold for $4.00 as a live lead or phone interviewed lead will be sold again as an aged lead for a fraction of the cost. If you look around you'll see them called aged leads, 7-14 day old, etc. Yes they have been contacted once, twice, or more, before you receive them, however for the fraction of the cost they can fit into anyone's budget. There are two main things you need to keep in mind: 1) Not every opportunity is right for everyone. 2) Not everyone is as charming as you! Even if other people have called these leads before you, the opportunities they are representing may not have been a right fit for them. Or perhaps they may not have felt comfortable with the other people. When you first chose the company you are with now, did you look around first to see what your options were before joining? Most prospects will often want to evaluate different opportunities before making their life changing decision. So are $4.00 leads worth it? Absolutely! But only after you are ready for them, so you can make the best of them. But until then, why not start off with a lead that began as a high quality or premium lead that is aged slightly so that you can purchase substantially more. Remember, it's about finding quality people, and the more people you talk to, the more quickly you will find them. The right people will be receptive to you, whether they filled out a form today, or a week ago. As you get more experience and practice. Start combining the higher quality or fresher leads with your aged leads to experience both. You will figure out what balance of leads will work best for you and your budget. Parting Tip: As you get better, your leads will get better, regardless of the age or quality of the lead.

How To Get Internet Marketing To Work

If you're like me, busy...busy...busy. Then how do you have time to make it work to build your business with out sitting spending a ton of money on advertising?

There are many sites out there that get people to see your website but they might be just clicking to get views to their own page...and the cycle continues. They have no intentions on getting more information about what you are offering. They're just clicking.

So, I don't have the latest and greatest tool that aims to build their own list for this new site that they have just created, but what I am hoping for is those of you out there that are getting results from your online advertising to share what is working for you.

A few days ago, someone who called me back after I put my email in his page because I liked the system he was using told me to use Text Ads and Mailers. The thing is, I use text ads a lot and I get thousands of impressions (people that see my ad) and even hundreds of click but no opt-ins or signups. And the funny thing is this particular website does not give people credits for clicking. So what am I doing wrong.

Can someone give some tip to me and my viewers that can help us get results from our online marketing? We do appreciate your suggestions...

How To Build A List Of Eager Subscribers

Every online business provides great service to generate satisfaction among their customers. As each and every customer receives satisfaction over their products or the services they get, there is a great chance that they will become a return customer and buy again. Better yet, they will recommend you to other people that could generate more business for you and your site.

As more traffic is driven to your site, you can entice many of them to subscribe to your mailing list or opt-in list. This is a list where in website visitors agree to be sent promotional materials such as newsletters, catalogs and such that could keep them updated about your site or the niche of your site. These promotional materials are sent via e-mail to the members of the list in different time intervals.

When using e-mail as the media of your marketing and advertisements, you eliminate the need for high costs. Email is free and if you can manage to make your own promotional advertisements you can also save a bundle there. With an opt-in subscribers list, you are pretty sure that what you are sending out is received, viewed and read by the subscribers and not simply being deleted. They have signed up for service and have consented in receiving it.

This means that there are constant reminders to your subscribers about all your products, new products and services as well as any promotions and special deals you are having. There is also the chance that they can be forwarded to other potential customers as they tell their friends and families about you and your site.

Of course you should be also aware that a subscriber may unsubscribe when they feel that they are not getting what they want or expected. Make sure that they are satisfied with your opt-in marketing strategies and keep them excited in receiving your newsletters and catalogs. Here are some tips that can help you build a list of eager subscribers.

Make your promotional materials interesting and fun. Try to use a little creativity but not too over artsy. Build around what your product or service is about. For example; if you are selling car parts, put some pictures of what is new in the auto parts world, a new wing door possibly that can fit any car and make it look like a Lamborghini.

Try to research what people are looking for, this way, you stay one step ahead of them all the time and you will be their bearer of new tidings. They will be eager to receive what you are sending them because they new you always have fresh and new things to share with them.

Write good articles that can be very informational but light at the same time. If your subscribers enjoy your articles, they will go to your site by clicking the links that you will be putting on your newsletter to read some more. You can provide articles that can connect to many people. Be diverse in your articles. Put something humorous, then put something informational, then put something that has both.

Are you wary about this because you don’t like writing? No problem, there are many professional and experienced article writers that   can do the job for you for minimal fees. They know what they are doing and can provide the need that you have for your newsletters, the money that you pay for your articles are going to be met by the many sign-ups and the potential profit from the sales that you will get.

Create and send an E-book to your customers about anything that is related to your business or site. Use your knowledge and expertise in the field you have chosen to help other people who are similarly interested. Offer this e-book for free. You can write about anything informational and helpful to your subscribers. For example; you can do manuals and guides in so many things. This e-book could be used as a reference for many people.

Share this e-book with everyone, even other sites; just make sure that they don’t change the links in the e-book that will lead people to your site. If you want, you can always get some people to write it for you just like your articles. Your investment once again will be covered by the great marketing this will generate.

Add e-coupons in your newsletters that will help them avail to special discounts. Put a control number in your e-coupon so that they can only be used once. When people get discounts that can be found in your newsletters, they will be eager to receive your newsletter in anticipation of what you are promoting next.

If your subscribers can get benefits from your newsletters, they will be very eager to receive them. Just don’t flood your mailing list with mails so that you don’t annoy your subscribers.

Are Membership Sites the Right Choice?

Membership sites are gaining a lot of popularity both for the Internet marketer and for the consumer.  They are a great way to market products for the marketer and a convenient choice for getting needed products or information for the consumer. So in essence, this type of site is a win – win situation for everyone. The viewer gets his needs met and so does the Internet marketer.

The Benefits for the Internet Marketer

When you look to the Internet to produce money, you are always on the lookout for new products, or new ways you can produce money online. You need to sell and selling online can be difficult because there is never eye-to-eye contact and this causes the Internet to be somewhat impersonal and a difficult sale, but Membership sites solve a lot of these problems.
A membership site allows you to give qualified information away for free or for the price of the membership feel. This information pertains to the interest of a certain group of people. If for instance, you are a teacher and have all kinds of interesting activities, downloads on your site, information that in general will help all teachers with their skills, then this would be your niche, or the group you want to market to. You can either offer free membership to your site with all of this great information or charge a small by monthly fee. You can even do both. Offer certain information for free, but make a paid membership available for people that want more detailed information. Using a membership site in any of these forms will produce you money.
The Paid Membership Site

If you charge a membership fee no matter how small it will give you a residual income. Lets say for this same teacher activities site you charge a membership fee of $5 per month and you get 1 new signup a day for a period of three months, that will produce $500 at the end of those three months with the income continuing to increase each and every month. Now imagine if you had three or four such sites, which targeted different demographic groups.
The Free Membership Site

Believe it or not, many free membership sites make more money than those that require a membership fee. Just look at Google to figure that one out. Free membership sites make money because they have an advantage over other web sites that only market products.  They create a rapport between the viewer and the owner, and a relationship occurs. Of course, this is what any Internet site owner could wish for, because once there is a relationship, a sale can be made.

Free membership sites offer products on their sites. It can be anything from informational products as in an Ebook or DVD. It can be a product that is mailed to the viewer, and these products can be received from other companies by signing up as an affiliate marketer and offering other peoples products that relate to your site on your site. You in turn make a commission on the product that is sold.

How Expensive is it To Start a Membership Site?

One of the greatest benefits of this type of website is that they are not at all expensive to start. If you do your own web design work and use creative marketing methods and SEO practices, your site should be up and running for a couple of hundred dollars, a truly inexpensive venture for something that can produce a substantial amount of money.
Membership Sites are Hot

To get the point across quickly and efficiently membership sites are the new craze in the Internet industry, a great way to make residual income and to get a professional status in the chosen industry. If you are looking for a way to make money on the Internet then the membership sites are the answer to your problems.
